Your quote is for all passengers in your vehicle including the driver.
Is a cabin included?
Cabin accommodation is compulsory on the overnight sailings to Amsterdam from Newcastle, this is included in the price quoted. Accommodation is not included for all other sailings, but can be added to your booking.
Are meals included?
No. However, hot and cold food options are available on-board all DFDS Seaways ferry crossings. On the Newcastle to Amsterdam service you'll find a wider choice of restaurants including an à la carte menu in addition to the two cafés.
Can I travel with my pet with DFDS Seaways?
Yes you can travel with your pet as long as they have a Pet Passport. Pets can travel with DFDS Seaways on the following routes; Dover - Calais, Dover - Dunkirk and Newhaven - Dieppe. Simply select your route and add the number of cats or dogs you are sailing with. See our travelling with your pet information page for further details.
What's available for the Kids?
On board all DFDS Seaways ships you'll find a 'Little Nipper's' play area which is ideal for children up to the age of 6. On the overnight Newcastle to Amsterdam sailing, the onboard 'Kidz' Club' offers various activities including a ball pool, to keep the children happy. Older children will enjoy the games room with video games and a cinema showing a range of films for all ages.

DFDS Seaways - Pet Booking Information

Note, that to travel with your pet abroad, you will require a pet passport. Please see our guide to travelling with your pet.

You can take your cat or dog on your DFDS Seaways crossing and the booking can be made online. Select the route you want and then select the number of pets you are travelling with.

On the Dover to Calais and Dunkirk routes as well as Newhaven to Dieppe, pets are required to remain in your vehicle during the crossing. You are permitted to visit your pet during the crossing if accompanied by a crew member (but not the first or last hour if travelling from Newhaven).

On the Newcastle to Amsterdam sailing, pets should be suitable secured inside the vehicle although kennels are also available on this route. You can visit your pet during the crossing by visiting the guest service centre.
