Douglas Ferry Port

Douglas ferry port and terminal is the main port of the small Isle of Man, located in the Irish Sea between the East coast of England and Ireland. The ferry terminal is situated in the heart of the city and offers regular sailings to and from Liverpool, Heysham, Dublin, Larne and Belfast.

Getting to Douglas Ferry Port

By Car

The Sea Terminal is reached by the A1 from the West, the A2 from the North and the A5 from the South. There are regular bus services to Douglas from across the Island. The bus station is situated at Lord Street in Douglas, approximately 200 metres from the port terminal. Some buses stop at the ferry terminal to connect with the ferry departures.

By Bus

The ferry port is well connected to the rest of the island by bus, with services operating from Douglas Bus Station on Lord Street.

Café/ Bar

The Terrazza Café is in the departure lounge as well as a convenience store. Being located in the city centre, other shopping amenities are located close-by.

Tourist Information

The tourist information centre is located in the Sea Terminal Building at the end of the promenade nearest to the town centre. Dedicated staff will be on hand to offer help and guidance on the Island’s many attractions as well as places to visit and things to see and do.

Short and long term pay and display facilities are available near to the Terminal. Charges are approx £4.00 per 24 hours with a maximum stay of one month.
