Brittany Ferries have released their schedule and pricing for the 2012 season, and you can now book ferries online here. The schedule is similar to this year, but there is a Plymouth to St Malo weekly service operating between November and March. Brittany Ferries provide several ferries from the UK to France via the western channel, as well as their ever popular ferries to Santander and Bilbao in Spain.

Stena Line have announced the launch of a new Cairnryan Belfast service which promises leading levels of service. Moving from Stranraer to a brand new base at Cairnryan they are introducing the biggest ferries to sail between Northern Ireland and Scotland - the Superfast VII and Superfast VIII. The high speed Holyhead to Dun Laoghaire ferry service is to be cut back due to rising fuel and operational costs. Stena Line have announced that the service will be stopped from September 13th until 2012. Stena line have stated that the majority of the turnover for the route is generated between May and September and there is little demand for the high speed service from freight traffic.
